How Do I Use Global Search?

Global Search is always available from the main navigation, and it's packed with power!

Accessing Global Search

From anywhere in your That Clean Life account, click the search field above the top navigation bar.

Global search works across your entire That Clean Life account, displaying results from:

  • Recipes: Titles of recipes that live in the Recipes tab; created by the team of recipe developers at That Clean Life.
  • Custom Recipes: Titles of recipes that are saved in your Recipe Box; either created by you or modified versions of That Clean Life recipes you have saved.
  • Plans: Titles of plans created in the Planner tab; meal plans you have created from blank, using automator, or by copying and saving a template.
  • Templates: Titles of plans in the Templates tab; done-for-you nutrition plans created by our in-house dietitian.
  • Collections: Titles of collections you have created in the Collections tab.

Using Global Search

To get the most out of your search:

  • Use specific ingredients, tags, or dietary requirements as search terms
  • Use the categories to focus your search

Reference our list of tags here!

Global search includes some advanced features:

  • Real-time suggestions as you type.
  • Category tabs that help you focus on specific types of content.
  • Consideration for That Clean Life's library of tags and ingredients.
  • Combined content searching, for things like "tuna lunch."
  • Granular tag filtering on the search results page.

Click on a link to the right of your search preview to See all results in that category.

Click the blue text at the bottom of your search preview to See all results for your search terms.

To refine your search results, use the tag filters to narrow down your search.

After clicking See all results, you’ll see the sidebar with tag filters on the results page.

  • Click on one or more words in the list to apply the tag as a filter.
  • Click the “Clear” button near the top-right of the filters sidebar to remove all your filters.
  • Use the arrows above the “Clear” button to collapse and expand the sidebar to focus on your search results.
  • Use the single arrow beside each category header to collapse each tag category to see only what you need.
