I Can't Find an Ingredient in Your Database

If you are entering a recipe and can't find a particular ingredient in our database:

Type in the name of the ingredient, quantity, unit of measure, and category. If the ingredient is not in our database yet, or you haven't added it previously as a custom, you'll notice under "Nutrition from" it will indicate No Matches Found.


Click on No Matches Found. You'll be taken to the Nutrition tab. From here you can either:

  1. Search via our Nutrition API to select a match and then click the Continue button.
  2. Enter your own nutrition information for the ingredient and click the Continue button.

After clicking the Continue button you'll be taken back to the Details tab. When you're ready click the Add Ingredient button.
