How Do I Create a Recipe Book?
Recipe books or collections make great resources for a client or community who may not be into following a meal plan but would prefer a book of your "approved" recipes to draw inspiration from.
There are two ways you can create a recipe collection on That Clean Life:
Method 1: Collections
Use Collections to share or export a group of recipes with standard serving sizes without a grocery list.
When using Sharing to share a Collection, you can share an unlimited number of recipes.
If using Export to export recipes as a PDF, you can export up to 50 recipes in one single PDF document.
Note: If you need to generate a recipe book with specific serving sizes or with a grocery list, use Method 2: Planner.
To share a Collection of recipes, click the Share button. Choose your share settings before copying the link to share with your client.
To export a Collection of recipes, click the ••• menu button and then click Export collection from the context menu:
Next, click Recipes from the picker:
You'll be prompted with a dialog where you can select what to include or exclude with your export. Additionally, you can select if you would like to download the PDF to your own computer or have it generated and emailed it directly to your client:
Once you have customized your export, click the Start Export button and your PDF will be generated.
Method 2: Planner
Use the Planner to export a recipe book with your chosen serving sizes and/or a grocery list.
To export a recipe book from the Planner, start by creating a new plan and then adding your desired recipes to the plan.
Pro Tip: Keep in mind that Day and Meal labels have no importance when simply creating a recipe book with the Planner since you'll be de-selecting Plan when you export.
Once you've finished adding recipes to your plan and you are ready to export it, click the Export button:
You'll be prompted with a dialog where you can select what to include or exclude with your export. De-select Plan and choose whether you would like to optionally include the List, Notes, and Nutrition:
Once you have customized your export, click the Start Export button and your PDF will be generated.
